Bucks County Team Results
CONGRATULATIONS to Gracie who represented Bucks County Polocrosse Club down in Atlanta at the Sandie Creek Tournament! Gracie played B grade with Cory and Casen from Sandie Creek. Good Job Grace! CONGRATULATIONS to all Bucks Co. members who made it to florida this spring! Jake and Gracie picked up Catherine from Sugarloaf club and played in a very tough B grade. Good job guys! Bonnie played in a HUGE C grade on a mixed team of Bay Area players and Sunshine players. Way to go Bonnie! Donna and Cheri played in a super fun Women's Division along with Peggy from CPC. Our ladie's had a BLAST and can't wait for the Women's Division to be held again! CONGRATULATIONS to all the Bucks County members who made the treck to Harvest, Alabama in October 2010 for APA Nationals. Everyone played hard this year in some extraordinarily tough competition. Jake, Lauren and Victoria started out the weekend against the strongest powerhouse team, and were a little stressed after their loss. But after a quick position switch and a good pep talk from some strong players the whole weekend was turned around. Bucks fought hard in a nail biting finals, but just missed second place by 1 goal. Gracie, Halee and Katie played great in a STRONG C grade. Way to step up your game and prove yourselves, girls! Donna and Bonnie each played in the NEW women's division, but unfortunately we put on different scrambled teams. Two of our favorite moms duked it out in the finals for first and second, but Bonnie's team skirted ahead in the end, winning by 1 goal. Hopefully these two ladies will be playing together in the future! Saturday morning brought around the Parade of Colors. Bucks County was well represented by players and supporters alike! Thanks to our sharp jerseys, huge flags and beautiful new banner, Bucks County Polocrosse Club snagged The Paddy Memorial Best Presented Team. Way to go everyone for putting in the effort to look great, even after a tough day of hard playing! Congratulations to Bonnie, who won the best conditioned horse award on Fonz, Congratulations to Halee and her horse Chocolate, for getting an honorable mention for Best Horse in C Grade. As always, thank you to all the supporters- parents, siblings and friends who helped make this trip possible for our club. |
